Our students and staff prayerfully journeyed through the Stations of the Cross today, reflecting on Christ's love and sacrifice. We invite you to join us each Friday of Lent at 10:45am.

Back in December, Ms. Carda's class completed their fiction narrative unit. They adopted a virtual Elf on the Shelf named Jingles, who took over the school during Christmas break. The students described Jingles' adventures in their published book "The Wacky World of Jingles the Elf"!

💪 February’s Virtue: Perseverance 💪
This month at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we’re celebrating perseverance—the virtue that helps us stay strong, stay focused, and keep going even when things get tough.

Perseverance reminds us that with God’s help, we can face challenges with courage and finish the race set before us. Whether it's in the classroom, on the field, or in our daily lives, we’re encouraging our students to never give up and to trust that God is with them every step of the way.

Pajama Day = the perfect way to kick off Catholic Schools Week! 💤🎉

Our students rolled into the week in their coziest PJs and learned some powerful lessons along the way. We were excited to welcome O’Gorman High School students from SADD/TATU, who visited with our 5th & 6th graders to share important messages and answer questions.

The day wrapped up with our Money War, raising funds for our Catholic Schools Week service project: United Way. Thank you to our students and families for showing generosity, leadership, and school spirit!

What a great start to an amazing week celebrating faith, learning, and service 💙

⏳ January’s Virtue: Patience ⏳
As we begin a new year at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, we’re focusing on patience—the virtue that helps us trust God’s timing, stay steady through challenges, and respond with calm hearts.

Patience teaches us to pause, breathe, and remember that every moment is an opportunity to grow in grace. Whether we’re waiting, learning, or working through something difficult, we can choose to approach it with faith and perseverance.

✨ “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.” – Psalm 37:7

Attendance Matters: Serving Your Parish 💙🤲

When students are present, faith comes alive. Through regular attendance, our students learn that love is meant to be lived—by serving others and sharing the gifts God has given them.

From classrooms to parish life, we are forming hearts that understand faith isn’t just learned, it’s practiced. Thank you for partnering with us to help our students put love into action through service. ✨🙏

The PES sisters visited both Kindergarten & 1st grade classrooms today! With the kindergarteners they talked about how Jesus is the best gift they will receive this Christmas! They also talked about how they can care for Jesus like Mary did and how to always say "yes" to Jesus, like Mary said "yes" to being the mother of God.
With the first graders they talked about the wedding feast of Cana and how Mary teaches us to always do what Jesus tells us. Then the students made flowers for Mary and did a beautiful procession to the chapel.
