4th grade worked on an escape room activity today! Students had to work together to solve clues to put the saint statues where they belong.

Today we celebrated All Saints Day at school. Students went to every classroom to learn about a different Saint. They finished the celebration by praying the Litany of Saints as a school. All you holy men and women, pray for us!

🕊️ On this All Souls' Day, we remember and pray for all the faithful departed. May their souls, through the mercy of God, rest in eternal peace. 🙏💐

✨ On this All Saints' Day, we honor the countless holy men and women who have shown us the way to live lives of faith, hope, and love. May their example inspire us to strive for holiness in all we do. 🙏🌟

The classrooms were filled with laughter, games, and plenty of Halloween excitement today! 🕸️🧙♀️ Students enjoyed festive activities, sweet treats, and time with friends. 🍬🦇 A big thank you to our wonderful staff and parent volunteers for making this day memorable! 💜

Happy Halloween from Christ the King preschool! 🎃👻🍬 Students had a fun morning of celebrating with their friends and showing off their costumes to the rest of the school in a costume parade!

In honor of All Saint's Day coming up, Mrs. Williams' 4th grade class and Mrs. Quissell (technology teacher) joined together to create this year's saint podcast! These students researched their saint & then recorded their report in the form of a podcast. Check out the recordings by clicking the link! https://open.spotify.com/show/5EcTJisJeyNcQD1QNi1riX?si=dc365e616b244e31
Mrs. Quissell's connection to Anneliese, a reporter at the Vatican in Rome, provided an opportunity for 4th-6th grade students to learn about Rome, the Pope, and the canonization process. Anneliese attended the recent canonization Mass of Saint Carlo Acutis and Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati. She had the opportunity to interview both Acutis' mom and Frassati's 98-year old niece. The students also learned some facts about Pope Leo XIV and the election process for a new pope. We are grateful for the technology that makes "visits" like this possible!
We warmly welcome our new Christ the King Elementary staff members! The gifts and dedication of these talented educators and staff will continue to help our students grow in faith, knowledge, and character. 💛✝️

The CTK Jr. Hope Squad visited LifeScape today and read books with the students there. They all learned a lot and had so much fun!

Attendance Matters at Weekend Mass Too! 🙏✨
Your children cherish the time they spend with you, and that includes moments of prayer. As we continue our journey through this school year, we encourage our families to make a joyful commitment to attend weekend Mass together. Let's grow in faith and love as a community—because our children learn best by seeing the example of prayer in our homes and hearts. 💒❤️

🛎️REMINDER: This week is a short school week! There is no school on Thursday, October 23rd. We look forward to meeting with parents at conferences. If you are not sure of your conference time for your student(s), please contact your child's teacher or the school office. There is also no school on Friday, October 24th.

Happy early feast day of St. Luke! Students made edible paint palettes in 4th grade to celebrate St. Luke, the patron saint of artists.
